The Summer Edition Och-o is a unique multifunctional piece of children's furniture which has been designed not only for the child but also the people they share their lives with. Unlike the original upholstered Och-o, the Summer Edition Och-o is made from recyclable, non toxic polyethylene meaning it can be used outdoors as well as indoors, opening up a lot of new uses for both child and parent. Relax
The Summer Edition Och-o has an organic, contoured shape that children (or adults) can relax on (or in!).
Play
The unique strong structure of the Summer Edition Och-o allows the children to interact with the product in any way possible, on any given surface. They can also be linked to create a tunnel, or stack them to make a fort. The Summer Edition Och-o is only limited by the child's imagination.
Foot Rest
The Summer Edition Och-o is at the perfect height to be a footrest for all members of the family or used to display magazines. The Summer Edition Och-o can even be used simply as a chair as it can hold weight up to 100kgs.
Toy Storage
When not in use, the Summer Edition Och-o can be simply flipped on its side and used as toy storage.
Colours
The recyclable, non toxic (and easy clean) polyethylene comes in a range of vibrant colours with a built in UV inhibitor that prolongs the colour of the product (some natural fading may occur over time).

The Designers
Michele Gray and Sarah Kendrick are the team at Grasshopper Design. They focus on producing children's furniture. We met them while they were still students at the Otago Polytechnic Design 
Department with the bright idea of kids furniture that looked good in an adult space. We have worked with them throughout the development of their business which was launched onto the market in mid 2007. Sarah and Michele are lovely people with a wicked sense of humour.
Shipping
We ship with New Zealand Post's International Air Express service. We process your order within 5 working days at most (unless specified as longer in the description, such as if we custom make your product). Shipping takes 4-10 working days anywhere in the world so you will receive your order within 3 weeks. Shipping charges are listed on each page so you know up front what it will cost to send your order. Don't forget the automatic currency converter at the bottom of the left hand column or use www.xe.com. You will receive an automated email after placing your order and another from us when your item is dispatched but you are welcome to contact us by email anytime at support@vanilladesignstore.com and we will respond within 24 hours at most. We pack your order in recyclable cardboard and endeavour to avoid plastic and keep packaging to a minimum to reduce waste and enhance recyclability.
Payment and Returns
We accept payment via Paypal for its ease of use and trustworthiness. Payment can be processed through the Checkout on the website or you can contact us by email and go through the purchase manually. This is a good option for combined shipping or special requests. If you are based in New Zealand we can also accept payment directly to our bank account if you contact us. We stand behind our product 100% so if it arrives damaged or you just don't like it please contact us to arrange return and refund, preferably within a week of receiving it.
